Throughout Australia's history, bush fires have been a major controversy for the country. Due to the extended drought and strong winds, its the perfect condition for disastrous fires. Thats not all, severe heat waves grip the country and making record breaking Fahrenheits. Moreover, natural causes like lighting strikes, is responsible for many fires in Victoria's East Gippsland region. However, humans can also be the cause of these disastrous fires. The NSW police charged at least 24 people who deliberately started bushfires. In addition, the NSW police took legal action against 183 people for fire-related offenses. Furthermore, the extreme heat has followed the driest spring on record. For instance, New South wales and Queensland have been experiencing shortfalls in rain since early 2017.
